What is on the agenda

Fall Clinical runs a single general session through most of each day, with industry-sponsored breakfast, lunch and dessert sessions in the breakout rooms and specialty tracks in the afternoons.

Thursday, October 8

The meeting opens with the course directors’ look back at what 2026 brought to dermatology, followed by a session on improving outcomes in skin of color. The rest of the day moves through JAK inhibitors in atopic dermatitis and vitiligo, non-steroidal topical therapy, TYK2 inhibitors in psoriasis, acne, chronic spontaneous urticaria, hidradenitis suppurativa, pediatric viral infections, and how to choose among skin care products and cosmeceuticals. The evening brings the Welcome Reception and an Ask the Experts session where attendees bring their own challenging cases.

Friday, October 9

The exhibit hall and poster gallery open Friday morning. The general session covers 20 Tips in 20 Minutes, a melanoma update, acne and rosacea, IL-17 inhibitors, new topical therapies, oral psoriasis therapies, sunscreen filters and biologics for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. In the afternoon the program splits into parallel tracks: non-melanoma skin cancer, hidradenitis suppurativa, rare skin disorders and actinic keratosis in the general session, a CME workshop on alopecia areata, live patient workshops on devices, fillers and toxins in the aesthetics track, and the Practice Excellence Workshop on AI and technology.

Saturday, October 10

Saturday’s general session includes pediatric dermatology pearls, the case for earlier advanced treatment, matching therapies to patients, chronic spontaneous urticaria, biomarker-driven testing, an AAD update, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and alopecia areata. The afternoon features a multispecialty CME workshop on GLP-1 receptor agonists in psoriasis, the Early Career Dermatology Initiative, the Rising Derm Stars® competition for residents, and an aesthetics program covering anatomy and ultrasound, regenerative medicine, hair loss treatment, toxins and fillers.

Sunday, October 11

The final morning covers the newest developments in dermatology, updates from JAMA Dermatology, JAAD and SKIN, hyperpigmentation, wound healing, lupus and dermatomyositis, and surgical pearls. The meeting wraps by late morning.

The practice operations track

Fall Clinical is primarily a clinical meeting, but a few sessions speak directly to how practices run day to day.

On Friday afternoon, the FC Practice Excellence Workshop (non-CME), chaired by Mark D. Kaufmann, MD, focuses on AI and technology in the practice. Sessions cover voice AI for patient access, reducing prescription friction, alternative lines of service and new technologies, and software-enhanced clinical decision-making. On Thursday afternoon, the Mentoring for Leadership session includes a talk on what is new in office efficiency.

If phones, scheduling and front desk capacity are on your list of problems to solve this year, these are the sessions to circle.

How to plan your days

  • Register Wednesday evening. Early registration runs 5:00 to 7:00 PM on October 7, which saves you the Thursday morning line.
  • Plan exhibit visits for Friday and Saturday morning. The exhibit hall is not open Thursday and closes at 12:30 PM on Saturday. Breakfast and morning refreshment breaks on both days are held in the hall.
  • Pre-register for the clinicopathologic session. The Thursday 7:30 AM session with Clay J. Cockerell, MD, JD, MBA requires pre-registration.
  • Book a Sunday afternoon flight. The final general session wraps up mid to late morning.

Where to find Simbie AI at Fall Clinical 2026

The Simbie AI team will be exhibiting in the exhibit hall (Cristal 1, 3, 5 and 7) on Friday and Saturday morning. Our co-founders, Natalia Neha Khosla, MD, CEO, and Rachel O’Driscoll, will be at the booth to show you how Simbie works for dermatology front desks.

We are also sponsoring a session in the Practice Excellence Workshop:

The 30 Minute Dermatology Appointment in 10 Minutes: Expanding Patient Access & Care at Lower Cost with Voice AI
Friday, October 9, 2:50 to 3:20 PM PDT, Meursault
Speaker: Natalia Neha Khosla, MD, CEO and Co-Founder, Simbie AI

Simbie AI builds AI receptionist agents for dermatology practices that answer patient calls, book and reschedule appointments, and handle common front desk questions, so your staff can focus on the patients in front of them. Simbie works as a voice layer on top of the systems your practice already uses. It integrates with dermatology EMR and practice management systems including ModMed EMA, EZDerm and Nextech. If your practice runs on ModMed EMR, ask us at the booth how the integration fits into your existing scheduling workflow.

Heading to Las Vegas? Add the Simbie AI booth to your exhibit hall route and see how Simbie can take routine patient calls off your front desk.

Not attending this year? Your phones don’t wait for the next conference. Book a demo and see how Simbie works with your EMR and scheduling workflow.
